Who are we?

High Salvington Windmill, is located in a field beside Furze Road in High Salvington, at the top of the unmetaled Mill Lane. Furze Road can be reached from the A24 via the single-track Bost Hill, or the A27 by turning up Salvington Hill.

The nearest railway stations are West Worthing or Durrington. There is a number 7 bus that runs to Furze Road at the top of Salvington Hill, a minute's walk from the windmill, arriving hourly Monday to Saturday, from around 9am until 7pm, and departing from before 7am until just before 6pm. Currently, there is NO Sunday service. The number 7 bus runs between Furze Road in High Salvington and North Road in Lancing, via Durrington, Tarring, Worthing railway station, Broadwater and Lyons Farm.

There is some space along Furze Road for visitors to park their car, but it might be easier to park in the free, public car parks along West Hill or Honeysuckle Lane. Either of these car parks is a good starting point for a walk on the surrounding Downs.
